1. Who we are

This site is operated by Inspired Purpose Pty Ltd, a South African company trading as Devon Brough. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Inspired Purpose Pty Ltd.

3. Information we collect

3.1 When you visit the site

We collect anonymous analytics data through Google Analytics 4, including pages viewed, time on page, device type, country (not city or street), and how you arrived (referrer or search query). We do not collect your IP address in identifiable form; Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses by default.

3.2 When you opt in for the free Detection Guide

We collect your name (optional) and email address. This is processed through MailerLite, our email service provider.

3.3 When you purchase The Reluctant Narcissist course

We collect your name, email address, billing address, and country. Payment information (credit card details) is collected and processed by our payment processor — either PayFast or Paystack (a Stripe company), depending on which gateway you select at checkout — not by us. All transactions are processed in South African rand (ZAR). We never see or store your full credit card number.

3.4 When you send someone the Mirror Course as a gift

We collect:

• Your email address (used only to send you delivery confirmation — never used for marketing)
• The recipient’s email address (used only to send them the gift)
• Your optional message to the recipient (if you choose to include one)

We do NOT track whether the recipient opens the gift, watches the course, or completes any part of it. This is by design.

3.5 When the Mirror Course is received and opened

We collect anonymous, aggregate analytics on whether gift tokens are activated (a count, not a connection to the original sender). We do not associate this activity with the recipient’s email or with the sender.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Deliver products and content you’ve requested (the Detection Guide, the course, the Mirror Course gift)
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, course access, gift delivery)
• Send marketing emails (the Detection Guide nurture sequence; the TRN buyer welcome sequence) — you can unsubscribe from these at any time
• Improve the site through anonymous analytics
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to anyone
• Share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes
• Use your information to train AI models
• Use your information in ways unrelated to what’s described in this policy

5. Who we share information with (third-party processors)

Each of these processors handles your data under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law. We have entered into appropriate data processing agreements with them where required.

6. How long we keep your information

• Marketing email list (Detection Guide opt-ins, general subscribers): retained until you unsubscribe.
• Course buyer records (your account, your access to the course): retained for as long as you have course access — currently lifetime.
• Mirror Course gift records: retained for as long as the recipient might want to access the course. Sender email is deleted after delivery confirmation.
• Anonymous analytics: retained per Google Analytics 4 defaults (14 months by default).

You can request deletion of your records at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Essential cookies required to keep you logged in to the course and to remember your purchase status.
• Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4. These are anonymised.

We do NOT use advertising cookies, tracking pixels for retargeting, or cookies for any purpose unrelated to running the site.

If you are visiting from the EU, UK, or California, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to or restrict our processing
• Receive a portable copy of your data
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe is one-click)

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@devonbrough.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change. For material changes, we will notify subscribers by email.
